Günther

Full Name: Günther Andreas Kaiser
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Age: 92 (deceased)
Birthday: April 20th
Astrology Sign: Aries
IQ: 136
Element: Earth
Ethnicity: German
Language(s): German, English
Religion: Non-religious
Occupation: N/A
Birthplace: Berlin, Germany
Current Living Place: N/A
Blood Type: B
Marital Status: N/A (formerly, husband to Rocelle)
Family Relations: Son of Matias* and Charlotte*; Father of Julius* and Otto*; Grandfather of Kero; Great-grandfather of Skyeler and Skyla
Biography: Günther Kaiser was born in Berlin, Germany, around the post-WWI time period. His father, Mathias Kaiser was a German soldier, and growing up, Günther and his younger brother Rolfe had a great deal of respect for their father and for how bravely he fought for his country. After Germany's loss in the first World War, Günther and his family were affected painfully by the repercussions that followed, and much of his childhood years after that became a struggle. It was...a difficult time for them to say the least, but Mathias instilled in both of his sons a great love and powerful sense of pride in their country and in their German heritage, one he insisted they must never let go of, and reminded them that they must always be ready to fight for their homeland should it ever be necessary once more.
That "once more" came in the form of WWII. Mathias Kaiser, though considered too aged to fight, was a loyal supporter of Adolf Hitler--Germany's rising leader--and his ideas for the country. He encouraged Günther and his brother to offer their support too, and both sons agreed, soon becoming members of the Nazi party, members as loyal and devoted to their leader as their father way. Günther's intelligence, strategic mind, and powerful dedication to the cause offered him countless opportunities for advance, and throughout the course of the war, he rose through the ranks of the Nazi party, ultimately becoming an adviser to Hitler himself. Günther's job was one he did with an unparalleled pride, seeing it as his greatest achievement, the fulfillment of his lifelong dream, the knowledge that he was doing great things for the country he loved. But best of all was not necessarily this, or the fact that he'd made a name for himself after coming from nearly nothing, or even the fact that his country's very leader gazed at him with respect. It was knowing that he earned the respect of his father, a strict and devoted man, and Günther's childhood idol.
Towards the ending years of the war, much to Günther's dismay, he was put in charge of overseeing a concentration camp, with orders to begin the process of.."closing" it down. Günther saw it as a waste of his abilities, knowing he would have been much more effective in the role of one of the party's military advisers, but as a soldier, a high-official, he did not disobey the orders given to him. The one condolence was that his work there consisted primarily of giving orders to the lower officials, which meant there were few major things he had to get out himself and do. When confusion occurred amongst some of the camp guards under Günther's order, however, it marked the start of a turning point in Günther's life, an event that would force him to reconsider the duty he once saw as his greatest achievement.
The first time he had to personally run a gas-chamber execution, he thought little of it. But the second...and the third time...he couldn't help but feel...bothered a little by what it was he was doing...once it started to sink in that these were real people that he was killing. But he knew he had a job to do, and would dismiss the feelings of almost-remorse whenever they came over him. Eventually though, he reached a point where this no longer worked...and he realized that what he was doing was wrong.
In time, the second World War came to an end, leaving Günther not with pride, but with heavy remorse, and the painful memories of those he had murdered. At one point, he shares this remorse with his younger brother, who has little understanding or compassion of Günther's predicament, and more or less tells him that what he did was for the better, and to stop being such a sap. Rolfe also warns Günther of persecutions to come, and that as former Nazi officials, both brothers were subject to these trials...and the consequences. Rolfe informs his brother that he doesn't plan to wait around for that to happen, and tells Günther that he intends to escape to the United States to evade punishment. Günther regards this as a kind of cowardice, but in time, after much arguing with Rolfe, the two brothers find their way to the U.S. state of California; Rolfe to escape rightful punishment, and Günther to search for a new beginning.
While in California, Günther and Rolfe eventually begin an insurance company, and Günther meets, and eventually falls for, a lady friend of his brother's named Rocelle. (Who also has arrived in the U.S. as a result of similar circumstances as the two brothers) A lot of...drama ensues shortly after but to avoid getting into all that, I'm just going to cut to the main points. Rolfe is angry about Günther's dating Rocelle, when he intended to marry her in the first place, and after a few years (When Günther and Rocelle are married), it is subsequently discovered that Rolfe had been stealing money from the now powerful company almost since its beginning. Günther is...dissappointed to hear of this, but his brother...well..always had something of a knack for behavior like that, so maybe it shouldnt have been such a surprise. Rolfe is tried and imprisoned, and Günther becomes the sole owner and CEO of the insurance company.
Not too long after Rolfe's imprisonment, Günther and Rocelle have their first child, a son they name Julius Mathias Kaiser, and soon after, a second son named Otto Rolfe Kaiser. Both sons, incidentally, show strong personality traits of those after whom they were named; Julius being serious, intelligent, hardworking, and dedicated, and Otto being proud, cunning, and greedy.
After Otto is, at the age of 19, found to have stolen money from the company, Günther sees the error in the ways of his wayward son, and names Julius as the sole heir of his fortune and company, an act which angers Otto and leads to his excommunication from the family, and an event which devastates the family. I'll get more into that in Otto and Julius's description.
After his great success in business, he founded several organizations as well to offer aid and monetary compensation to those persecuted in WWII. He considered this to be one of his greatest achievements, an act of giving back. Günther Kaiser eventually passed away due to age...willing all his posessions to his wife and grandson, who is now the CEO of Kaiser and Sons.

Rocelle

Full Name: Rocelle Charlotte Kaiser
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Age: 86
Birthday: November 2nd
Astrology Sign: Scorpio
IQ: 132
Element: Earth
Ethnicity: German
Language(s): German, English
Religion: Non-religious
Occupation: None (Retired)
Birthplace: Berlin, Germany
Current Living Place: Sacramento, California, U.S.A.
Blood Type: AB
Marital Status: Single/Widow (formerly, wife to Günther)
Family Relations: Mother of Julius* and Otto*; Grandmother of Kero; Great-grandmother of Skyeler and Skyla
Biography: The daughter of a young German soldier, Rocelle was born around Berlin, Germany, in a small town in the post-WWI era. Like many German families, Rocelle and her parents were hard-hit by the consequences of Germany's loss in WWI, and the poverty that resulted. During this time, when Rocelle was around three or so, her mother became sick from malnutrition, a sickness that would soon worsen and take her life. Even at her young age, Rocelle was deeply upset at the loss of her mother, and the pain of that loss remained with her throughout her childhood, and the rest of her life.
Despite the hardships Rocelle and her widowed father went through, he never failed to encourage her to keep her head up, to remain strong as he did, and above all, to dedicate herself to education, for if anything would help her make a way in the world, it would be that. Rocelle heeded her father's advice, and it showed, she consistently made honor-role grades and was strongly devoted to her studies more than anything else. Even as a young teen, she was studious, hard-working, and very serious in nature, with no interest in parties, boyfriends, or anything of that nature.
Things began looking up for the two, however, when Rocelle's father became a member of Germany's rising political party at that time- the Nazis. Shortly before Rocelle was to start high school, her father's new job transferred them from the town they lived in to the larger city of Berlin, a change that took much time for the less-then-social-butterfly Rocelle to adjust to; leaving behind the few close friends she'd made was not something she was enthused about, and for the first two high school years, showed even less interest in maintaining an active social life, vowing proudly to herself that she had more important things to attend to and that someday, her efforts in school would pay off and that was what mattered.
Around the end of her second year in high school though, her life was about to take a dramatic turn. With the ending of the second World War, Rocelle's father, a former Nazi party member, knew that he was no subject to the war-crime trials that were soon to come. Knowing that his life as he knew it, and his daughter's life as well, were on the line, the former Nazi official took his daughter and escaped to the United States, more specifically, to California. The change was mind-blowing for Rocelle....if she had disliked the move to Berlin, she hated the move to California. Though she excelled at school as much as ever, she made few friends, and detested her new life; detested her father for bringing her out of their country and into this foreign land. It didn't help when, while Rocelle finished her senior year in high school, her father remarried. Rocelle hated her American step-mother, despite the woman's attempts to befriend her, and saw her as a cheap replacement for the mother Rocelle should have had growing up. Rocelle made her hatred known, often insulting her stepmother in German or even in plain English, and even at best, refused to be anything more than stiffly polite to her father's wife.
Time passed, and Rocelle enrolled in University to continue her studies. During this time, she refused to have anything to do with her stepmother, and contact with her father was limited, though it should be known she still did love and respect him, as she always had back in Germany. While in college, Rocelle met a fellow German a good number of years her senior. She and this man, Rolfe, took to each other right away as friends, sharing many a common interest- and dislike. Even with much in common though, there was something about Rolfe that sometimes made her...uneasy; it was obvious he was wanting to be a little more than friends. When he proposed to her, she turned him down, knowing in her gut that going through with it would have been a bad idea. He's not happy about this, but does little more than sulk, and in time, Rocelle finds herself meeting Rolfe's brother, Günther. He is...everything his brother isn't, really. He treats her with a respect no man had ever shown her before, and in time..Rocelle begins to open up to him..and to love him.
When Günther proposes, Rocelle happily accepts, and the two are married. Rocelle becomes a lawyer and also does work for the insurance company of which Günther is the CEO (after his brother was removed from the company for financial theft). In time, Rocelle and Günther have two sons together; Julius Mathias Kaiser, and Otto Rolfe Kaiser, the latter of whom is eventually excommunicated from the family for crimes like those of his uncle and namesake, Rolfe.
These days, Rocelle lives in a beautiful and luxurious home not far outside Sacramento, retired from her work in the insurance company. She remained a widow after her husband's recent death from age, and in addition to their two sons, Rocelle also has a grandson and a great-grandson / great-granddaughter.

Otto

Full Name: Otto Rolfe Kaiser
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Age: 60 (deceased)
Birthday: October 20th
Astrology Sign: Libra
IQ: 139
Element: Darkness/Earth
Ethnicity: German
Language(s): English, German
Religion: Non-religious
Occupation: N/A
Birthplace: Sacramento, California, U.S.A.
Current Living Place: N/A
Blood Type: AB
Marital Status: N/A
Family Relations: Son of Günther* and Rocelle; Grandson of Matias* and Charlotte*; Brother to Julius*; Uncle to Kero; Great-uncle to Skyeler and Skyla
Biography: The second and youngest son of Günther and Rocelle Kaiser, Otto Rolfe Kaiser was always...very much opposite his older brother Julius. While Julius was dedicated and hard-working, Otto was lazy and complacent. He was by all means capable, easily as intelligent as his brother, but where Julius was knowledgeable and booksmart, Otto was cunning and crafty. Even as a little boy, he would steal snacks and lunches from other kids in his class, often manipulating some of the younger kids into helping him, sometimes even getting them to do all the work for him. If Otto ever had a problem, you can bet he would always take the dirty, easy way out, quite contrary to his father and Julius, both of whom Otto came to develop a resent for early on.
Knowing from the beginning that he was well...his father's second favorite, this fact imprinted a kind of jealousy in Otto's heart right from the beginning, even as a young boy. He and his brother would come home from school, both bearing admirable report card grades, and yet it always seemed to Otto that his brother always got all the praise from their father, while he would receive little more than "good job, keep up the good work." Being the younger brother...overlooked..was not a position the young Otto enjoyed, and after awhile, he began to give up on winning his father's attention. The only condolence during his younger years was the pride of his mother Rocelle, who loved both her sons equally, though it should be noted she wasn't really apt to show it...didn't tell them she loved them or any of that. In spite of his family's wealth and the fact that Otto lived quite comfortably in his childhood, it can be said that he grew from child to teenager without ever really... knowing the love of his parents.
In high school, he let himself go moreso than he ever had in elementary or middle school. Around that time, he and his brother began working at their father's insurance company, starting in minor positions with the intent of working their way up. Figuring that his future fortune was already secured in the form of his father's will and company, Otto saw no need to waste his time in school, knowing he'd be getting plenty of cash inheritance after his father died, something Otto knew he'd feel little sadness over. While Julius excelled and made the honor roll, Otto skipped classes to hang out with friends..friends that didn't happen to be of the greatest crowd. Among these friends was a group of three guys, the "ringleader" of which was a womanizing, pierced-and-tattooed cocaine addict by the name of Jackson, whose fluent lies and cunning personality couldn't have been more alike to Otto's. Otto and the group had something of a symbiotic give-and-take relationship....Jackson could give Otto any illegal substance under the sun, and in exchange, Otto would pay him lavishly with cash from his family's bottomless pool of savings. The two became best friends, and Otto found himself a permanent place in the group.
Of course, it wasn't long before Otto's parents caught on...they knew their son was often up to no good, but when the found out about his taking their money to use on...less than desirable products...they were not happy. Otto was sternly reprimanded by his father, and he reluctantly lied that he would never do such a thing again. When his parents kept their money under lock-and-key, Otto and Jackson made plans with their group to get money in a different way...and in time, with the help of the group and its connections, Otto was able to get into the money supply of the company itself in a clever act of fraud, and he gleaned millions of dollars for himself and his friends.
When Günther found out years later that the loss of company money was due to his own son, he was...well...both angry and disappointed to put it lightly. He talks to Otto and tells him that...he trusted him..he believed in Otto's abilities and for a long time, he did have pride for his son...but not anymore. Günther removes Otto from his will and names Julius as the sole heir to the fortune, and act which angers Otto deeply, an act that will ultimately push him to revenge.
Otto and his father argue furiously, an argument that ends with Günther more or less excommunicating his son from the family. But before Otto, black sheep of the Kaiser family, goes to serve his jail sentence, his brother goes to say goodbye to him, but Otto throws it in his face...telling him that this isn't the last time they're going to see each other. Subsequently, Otto and Jackson have a falling out when Jackson hears about the situation, and manages to escape conviction, leaving Otto to take the heat of the punishment.
When years later, Otto is an adult and his jail sentence is finally up, he remembers his fathers' words about removing him from the will, and silently vows to...change things in that area. He meets Jackson again, who has fallen on some hard times and is now working part time at a steel mill on the outskirts of the city, and ends up as Jackson's coworker. Jackson offers him cocaine and laments his situation, and Otto remembers his old friend's cunning..and connections. He tells Jackson about his own predicament and what comes out of that is a plan not to remove Otto's father....but to kill Otto's brother, Julius, thereby in a sense forcing Günther to will the company and fortune to Otto. Jackson questions this...he's really not too sure if this is going to work, but with Otto's promise of millions of dollars should the plan succeed, Jackson and co. are soon on board.
Otto discovers his brother Julius, widowed and with a teenage son, Julius Jr., who goes by the nickname of Kero. When Julius and his son have a fight that leads to Kero walking out, Otto seizes the chance to....see his brother once again, this time, with a shotgun in hand. While together, Otto makes as if all he intends to do is talk, set right the things of the past, but when Julius sees through it, and tells Otto that he'll never have control of their father's company nor a portion of his will, Otto shoots him, killing his brother with a single shot, and escaping swiftly with Jackson and their accomplices.
Not wanting to make himself look bad, Otto attends his brother's funeral, and it is there that he meets his nephew, Julius's son Kero, whom Otto realizes might well be a problem should their father pass on the inheritance to him rather than to Otto. Deciding to figure this matter out later, Otto also happens to notice his nephew's girlfriend Saige...and immediately takes a liking to her...deciding to have her himself. Saige resists his advances though, but he decides to toy with her nonetheless, hinting at the fact that he may have known something about Julius's death and who caused it.
Otto's parents are....not exactly thrilled about their son's release from jail when they find out about it, but Otto is...quite happy he's gotten away with his crime. Getting more bold now, he decides to send a nephew of his and Jacksons's friend Trevor, a teenager named Adam, to...'eliminate' Kero, a plan which much to Otto's dismay, falls through.
A few months later, while out on an errand, Otto again runs into Saige, Kero's girlfriend. This time though, she seems to enjoy his advances...as if she's had a change of heart towards him, and tells him that she's broken up with Kero. When Saige expresses interest in a possible.... relationship...Otto asks if she'd like to come home with him, and she accepts. Back at the house though, her demeanor seems to shift slightly, and she tells him she feels uneasy about his possible involvement in Julius's death...and asks him to...clear that up a bit before they go any further. Knowing her ties to the family have been broken, Otto quickly explains to Saige how he killed his brother, and that he did kill his brother. Saige seems..content with this, but her interest in..doing anything with him seems to have dwindled, and Otto decides he might have to...'persuade' her. Before he can do so though, the door bursts open and several police officers, along with Kero, enter the house, and place him under arrest. His confession of murder had been tape-recorded by a small, tapped microphone Saige had worn secretly, and it was enough to arrest him. In a last ditch effort, he intends to kill Kero himself, now out of sheer anger, and the two fight, a fight ending with Otto's defeat and arrest.
In time, Otto is tried and convicted of murder, and sentenced to death. He died only a short time before Saige, who'd been pregnant all along, gave birth to hers and Kero's first child.

Julius

Full Name: Julius Matias Kaiser
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Age: 62 (deceased)
Birthday: November 16th
Astrology Sign: Scorpio
IQ: 136
Element: Earth/Light
Ethnicity: German
Language(s): English, German
Religion: Non-religious
Occupation: N/A
Birthplace: Sacramento, California, U.S.A.
Current Living Place: N/A
Blood Type: B
Marital Status: N/A (formerly, husband to Lena)
Family Relations: Son of Günther* and Rocelle; Grandson of Matias* and Charlotte*; Brother to Otto*; Father of Kero; Grandfather to Skyeler and Skyla
Biography: Julius is the first and oldest son of Günther and Rocelle Kaiser, followed by his younger brother Otto. Even from their boyhood years, the two brothers couldnt have been more different, and it was clear from the beginning that Julius was his father's favorite. This was something that made him feel..well...proud, though in the back of his mind he couldn't help but feel a little bad because he knew that his brother Otto deeply resented him for being the favored son.
As the brothers grew through their childhoods, their personalities really began to shine through; with Otto being sly, cunning, and manipulative, while Julius was serious, intelligent, and devoted to his studies, even as a young boy. The more he grew older, the more he began to grow apart from his brother, who, consumed by jealousy, wanted nothing to do with him. At first, it was something Julius sought to patch up, but in time, he realized that...those efforts would not pay off..and he did his best to let his brother's anger go.
As a teenager, Julius made the honor roll with ease and balanced being on the football team with being president of the school's Honor Society, among other things. At around the age of 14, he started an entry level position in his father's insurance company along with his brother Otto, and spent countless hours assisting his father in the business, a business he hoped some day to be a greater part of. It was on one evening working there that Günther took Julius aside and explained to him that...he wanted Julius to grow up to be a good businessman, intelligent, skilled...but above all, honest, and he expressed his worry about Julius's brother Otto. Günther goes on to say that Julius must do whatever it takes to prevent Otto from taking control of the company, because the consequences would be nothing short of devastating. Julius promises not to let this happen. It was, incidentally, not long after this that Otto was discovered using company money to purchase drugs.
A few years later, during Julius's early college years, a second money fraud incident takes place, headed by his brother Otto, and this time, it ends with their father Günther more or less exiling Otto from the family. Otto is furious, and is arrested for his crime, and after that, Günther confides in Julius that he was reluctant to have had to punish his son in such a way...but it was something that had to be done for the good of the family and the company, and Julius agrees that they cannot have his wayward brother around any longer.
A few years pass and Julius finds himself in a higher position in the company, overseeing the hiring of interns and new employees. Around this time, his father Günther brings in a girl not too much younger than him, a newly-graduated high school student named Lena, who is to be participating in a summer intern job at the company. He informs Julius that he is to show Lena around, teach her about the company, and train her for her future job. Lena goes right ahead and introduces herself, and is obviously excited to be working there, she thinks its going to be a fun time. Julius isn't too enthused, however, honestly...after the first few days he finds her talkative, spirited, social-butterfly personality to be on the annoying side. Having never had time or interest in having a girlfriend in high school...you could say that Julius wasn't necessarily too great at that time with impressing the ladies...and many a time, he would reprimand Lena harshly for anything she would do wrong...sometimes just because she woul irritate him. When Lena's attempts to befriend her coworker are rudely and largely ignored, she finds herself snapping quite a bit at him, and basically tells him that she doesn't like him anymore than he likes her, but being that they're working together, he could at LEAST learn how to be civil. He, of course, kind of brushes her off but inside....he knows he needs to...learn to act a little bit better...after all...he does admit to himself that if nothing else, Lena is attractive.
About a month into Lena's internship though, she and Julius have a major dissention, which ends with her telling him that she intends to find somewhere else to work and doesn't need to take crap from him anymore, she's done. She storms out, and moments later, realizing the fight was a mistake on his part, Julius goes after her and stops her, and while she waits....he manages to...apologize...though...it takes a good deal of convincing on his part to make her change her mind and come back. With that done, Lena decides to give him another chance...and from then on...things are quite different between them. Whereas Julius once found her obnoxious....he now finds her...kind of sweet...now that he's given himself the chance to get to know her.
The two soon begin dating, and about a year later, Julius proposes to her, and Lena happily accepts, having come to love him as much as he has her. Not too long later, Lena becomes pregnant with their first child. Things are looking good for the two of them...until around the seventh month of her pregnancy, Lena becomes ill. When Julius takes her to the doctor, he is told that her illness...and increasing weakness..was as a result of an undetected internal bleeding. Lena refuses medication, not wanting to risk harm to her unborn child, and remains in the hospital under the care of the doctors there.
Time passes by, and Julius grows more and more worried for his wife...until the day finally comes for her to give birth. Julius arrives at the hospital, only to find no baby, and Lena in severely critical condition. He is pushed out of the room by the emergency room staff, but not before saying a broken goodbye and I love you to his wife. Hours later, he is permitted back into the room, though told that there is good news and bad news. Upon reentry, he is informed that...due to a strain-induced internal hemorrhage which occurred as a result of a rare bleeding disorder..Lena had died from the loss of blood. Its..a devastating scene that Julius finds...and one of only two times in his adult life that he actually..cried.
The fortunate thing though was that their baby, a boy, was safe, removed via a c-section. Julius names his and Lena's son Julius Jr., the name they had selected months earlier should the child have been a male.
Julius Jr., who comes to be known by the nickname Kero, quickly grows to take on the traits of his mother, outgoing, freespirited, fun-loving...almost the polar opposite of his father. As Kero ages from boy to teenager, the clash between his personality and that of his father becomes more and more evident, frequently being the cause of quarrels between the two. Julius is stern and strongly work-oriented, sets high standards which Kero has difficulty meeting, and despite efforts on both sides, Julius and his son were admittedly...not as close as they could have been.
When Kero is 18, he and Julius have a massive fight, which ends with Kero walking out the door. He moves out soon after, but after a second fight when the two attempt to resolve what happened, it seems as though Kero is gone for good. Julius for the first time laments the mistakes he'd made in raising his son..and wishes things could have been different.
In the midst of all this, Julius's brother Otto arrives, and it is the first time in years that the brothers have seen each other. Otto seems only to want to talk, but when that talk shifts onto the company of which Julius is soon to be CEO, Otto grows angry, and demands that Julius consult their father about Otto's place in the inheritance and the company. Julius refuses, only to see his brother pull out a shotgun, and place it to Julius's head. His final thoughts are of his beloved wife Lena...and of their son, for whom he wishes only the best. Then, Otto pulls the trigger.
Julius's death was one that devastated his family...most especially his son. In time though, Otto is convicted for his crime and sentenced to death, and under Kero's dictation, a beautiful memorial fountain is built in the courtyard of the Kaiser building, the headquarters of the family's insurance company. Julius's memory lives on....his spirit now reunited forever with Lena's.

His father, a medical doctor, did all of what he could to bring in money to keep food on the table, and his mother even took a job as a maid to help her husband with the finances.

Being that the family situation was as it was, Matthew, even from his younger years, was often entrusted with watching his younger brother and sister when their parents weren't around...which was frequently. He didn't mind this much...and even enjoyed the time spent with his younger siblings. Even from early on...Matt's personality was characterized by something like fatherly maturity...he was always calm and even tempered, if not rather reserved and quiet, and his parents always counted on him to run the house when they weren't around to do so.

For all his maturity and devoted loyalty to helping his family...its probably worth noting that Matthew really was never all that close to his parents...yes he cared about them, yes he respected them, but the fact of the matter is...he saw very little of them...especially once the Depression hit and they spent more time than ever struggling to make ends meet. The hours they spent at home though were hardly enough time to really...develop a bond with their kids. Matt's brother and sister felt the same way, and really...started to look to him as an almost father figure...sometimes even calling him "Dad". As for Matthew himself, he found a father in his uncle...a brother of his mother's who often looked after the kids when they were real little. Some of Matthew's earliest, and fondest, memories were of the stories his uncle would tell him..true stories..about his own years of experience as a medical doctor in the airforce during WWI. It was these stories that heightened Matt's admiration for his uncle, and it was these stories that lead to the formation of Matthew's own dream...to become an airforce pilot.

Though his high school years in the aftermath of the great Depression proved to be a struggle, primarily on account of financial hardship...Matthew ended up pulling through with decent enough grades, and at the encouragement of his father and uncle, (his mother dissapproved initially...out of worry) he enlisted in the airforce...and in time, became a veteran pilot of high ranks, serving his country in the second World War.

His service did not come without its costs, however, one of which was the fact that he ended up being moved around....a lot. I mean...he didn't whine about it to be truthful...being that he wasn't naturally SUPER!social with a huge circle of friends..it wasn't like he was having to tear up tons of roots everytime he went somewhere new...so if anything, he welcomed the chance to see new states and places. He honestly didn't mind it...while it was something of an inconvenience..it wasn't like he had a family to move around...at least not yet.

It was actually while living back for awhile in his own hometown in West Virginia that Matthew, on an outing with some friends, met a girl a few years his junior by the name of Jenelle. They start of as friends...getting to know each other...he tells her he was an airforce pilot, she tells him that she came to the U.S. all the way from Ireland...they just kind of start getting to know each other..and before long, they end up dating. Now Matthew really hadn't...had any serious relationships, being that he'd moved around so much, but as he and Jenelle grew closer...he realized that...over the time they'd known each other, that he really had come to love her, and she had come to love him.

When Matthew proposes to Jenelle, she happily accepts...and with countless family members and friends there to attend, the two are married as husband and wife. Of course though, no marriage is without its troubles, and Matthew and Jenelle quickly found a problem in one thing....Matthew's being moved around so frequently. While he didn't mind it, and Jenelle always went with him wherever his job required, being as social as she was, it hurt her to have to leave her family and many friends behind...and she expressed this concern to Matt one evening. She told him that...well...all the moving was difficult for her...she wanted to actually...you know...settle down at some point and have a home...and..maybe one day, a child or two.

At this point, living in California, the couple was happy...and after talking it over, Matthew honored his wife's request...and soon retired from his years of airforce service so that the two could make their permanent home there, in a place they both loved. A lot of things changed during that time...Matt took up a new career as a college professor, with Jenelle as a teacher at the local elementary school...and after the two had settled into their new lives...they decided it was time to think about bringing a new member into the family.

Matthew and Jenelle's daughter Lena was born soon after.

As his only daughter...only child for that matter, Matthew doted on his daughter as any father would...and its fair to say that she was quite spoiled...though not to such an extreme that she became a bitch haha. xD The family lived a comfortable middle-class life...and time went on, Lena grew from a little girl into an adult...and married a man of status and wealth named Julius Kaiser. When she became pregnant soon after, Matt was thrilled at the idea of being a grandfather...but his happiness was cut short..Lena died in giving birth to her baby...Matthew and Jenelle's grandson, Julius Kaiser, Jr (who would soon be nicknamed Kero).

The loss of his daughter left a deep...deep sadness in Matthew's heart...it wasn't that he was angry at Julius or himself or anyone else...he was just..hurting....a good deal. In time though...he returned to the point where he could...overcome the depression..to an extent...but the loss of his only child...its not something he'll ever really...bounce back from.

These days though, he's retired from his job....and is still faithfully married to Jenelle. They have a grandson, Kero, (whos own personality never fails to remind Matthew of his daughter's), and a great-grandaughter, Skyla / great-grandson, Skyeler.

Blood Type: A
Marital Status: Taken (Wife to Matthew)
Family Relations: Mother of Lena*; Grandmother of Kero; Great-grandmother of Skyeler and Skyla
Biography: Jenelle is the middle child of nine siblings, born to a lower class family in Dublin, Ireland, around the year 1925. With eight brothers and sisters, life, even in the beginning, was incredibly hectic...and difficult. Jenelle's father was almost never present, having to work unspeakably long hours in the factory where he was employed, just to provide the bare minimum for his family. The times were difficult, and many a night would pass by when his children would see little or nothing in the way of dinner...or any other meal of the day for that matter...and there was little anyone could do about it...the hard times were overwhelming..literally.

The family took their situation in different ways..Jenelle's father would drown his troubles in alcohol..frequently straining the family's financial situation even harder, her mother and most of her sisters would spend countless hours crying, weeping, for the strife they had to endure, and her brothers sought to find a place for themselves working and seeking employment where they could. Jenelle, throughout the ordeal, did her best to keep her head up, her natural-born optimism often helping her see the light where in most cases, the rest of her family saw nothing.

Once her older brothers and sisters started to leave off to take mates of their own, it eased the burden on the family a little...though the quality of life in their run-down house in the poor neighborhood improved little..truthfully. It meant less mouths to feed...but it also meant less people bringing in income, so it was both a blessing, and at the same time, a curse. After the death of her youngest sister from polio, an event which really...devastated the entire family, Jenelle decided that...if nothing else, she had to at least try and do something to be of help...it broke her heart to see so much suffering going on in the family...especially with the recent death. Though her mother discouraged her, telling her she'd have little success, Jenelle decided to go out looking for a job, determined to bring in something that might be able to help them..even if just a little.

It took months of looking...and persuading, but after persevering through the initial difficulties, Jenelle managed, at the age of eleven, to find herself a job delivering mail in her neighborhood and those around it. It brought in a very small revenue...but Jenelle saved every penny of it, hoping that someday, it might just start adding up into a more meaningful amount. Her job often took all day..and it was no doubt tiring, especially when she'd come home knowing that she may well not be eating that night. Keeping her head up though, she kept on going with her job, even taking a sense of pride in it, and doing the best she could.

Being friendly by nature, Jenelle would often stop for conversation at the houses where she delivered mail, even befriending many of those who lived nearby. It comforted her to know she was making friends...or at least acquaintances, and the more she got to know people, the more she really came to enjoy her job that much more.

One one afternoon route, Jenelle was delivering mail to one of the more luxurious homes in a neighborhood adjacent to her, when the house's owner, an elderly, but wealthy woman, appeared at the door and offered Jenelle a tip, thanking her for the work she was doing. Jen was honored...the amount of tip money the woman gave her was probably more than she made in an entire week of working..and she thanked her profusely, feeling almost guilty to be being given so much money simply for doing what she was supposed to do.

In time though, Jenelle spends more time talking to the elderly woman, a Mrs. Lena O'Connor, who being of the age she is, has difficulty with things like household chores and maintaining the expansive, and expensive, property. She inquires if Jenelle would be interested in working as a maid at her place, and assures her that she would be paid for her work. Jen can't refuse the offer and, after talking it over with her mother and getting the okay, begins her new job.

Things, for the first time, begin to look up; even though Jenelle now lives at Mrs. O'Connor's home...and sees little of her family (they don't have a car, and their home isn't within walking distance), the money she brings in more than makes up for it, and she even comes to see her employer almost as a mother-figure...the two have a friendship..and Jenelle enjoys her job...knowing that she's helping out someone who truly needs it.

Jen's life takes a turn though, when her employer informs her that..she intends to move back to her home in the United States, where she'd spent most of her life. Having come to see Jenelle as...well..really as a daughter, she tells her that she could still use Jenelle's help after the move..but she'd understand if Jenelle didn't want to go. Jen....spends a lot of time thinking about it...she knows that going would be a move in her favor, but at the same time..the thought of leaving her family behind...

Long story short though, she ends up going to the U.S. (West Virginia) with Mrs. O'Connor, and every month, she sends back a large portion of her earnings, and a postcard, to her family. While Jen does miss them...she's happy at least to know that she has the companionship of the woman she's come to see as nothing less than a mother to her.

The remainder of Jenelle's school years pass this way, and after high school, she attends college and gets a job as an elementary school teacher. For the first time in her life really...she's actually..happy and comfortable, even having her own place not far at all from her mother's. Her social nature brought her many friends, and a happiness she hadn't felt since being back with her family in Ireland. The only thing that seemed to be missing up to this point was somthing of a romantic nature...

When she was in her mid-late twenties, Jenelle met a man named Matthew while out with some friends. His quiet and reserved nature seemed to contrast with her own socially outgoing one, but the more time passed...the more their newfound friendship seemed to deepen, until both of them realized that what existed between them was nothing short of love.

Matthew and Jenelle were married soon after, and all seemed to be right with them, save for one thing- Matthew was frequently transferred around by his airforce career. The first time the couple had to move was devastating for Jenelle...leaving behind her friends and her beloved mother figure...it broke her heart. More moves occurred...sometimes several times a year, and for Jenelle, it seemed like her dream of settling down and starting a family was not going to happen.

After talking to Matthew though, while the two were living in California, she helped him to see things her way...let him know what was going on, and in time, he honored her wishes and retired from the airforce, becoming a professor at a local college.

Soon after the two had settled in California, Jenelle became pregnant, and nine months later, the two welcomed their family's new member, a daughter they named Lena after Jenelle's adoptive mother, Mrs. O'Connor.

Jenelle and Matthew loved being parents...and they spoiled and pampered their daughter immensely, giving her just about everything she could have ever possibly wanted. Growing up, Lena and her mom were pretty tight...both having the same sweet, outgoing, fun-loving personality, and it was always a tight bond between them.

Time passed and Lena eventually grew up, marrying a man named Julius Kaiser. When the two newlyweds were soon expecting their first child, Jenelle could hardly wait to see her new grandson or -daughter, and she and Lena, along with Matthew and of course the child's father himself, all shared in one big excitement. In a sudden turn of events though, Lena died in giving birth to the baby, a son, nine months later.

Jenelle was devastated at the loss of her daughter, and the sadness of what happened would remain with her for a long time..but as always, she held onto optimism...knowing that at least her grandchild would be okay. To her delight even, the boy, Julius Kaiser Jr. (who would soon be nicknamed Kero) seemed to take on his mother's exact personality, and his own happy-go-lucky and fun-loving nature never failed to brighten the lives of his grandparents, even in spite of the loss of their Lena.

These days, Jenelle still lives in California, married to Matthew. Both are retired, and they have a grandson, Kero, and a great-grandaughter, Skyla / great-grandson, Skyeler.

Birthplace: Sacramento, California, U.S.A.
Current Living Place: N/A
Blood Type: O
Marital Status: N/A (formerly, wife to Julius)
Family Relations: Daughter of Matthew and Jenelle; Mother of Kero; Grandmother of Skyeler and Skyla
Biography: Lena is the only daughter (only child for that matter) of Matthew and Jenelle. Named for the best friend of her mother's, Lena was without a doubt the pride and joy of both her parents...both having always wanted a daughter of their own, and so she grew up always with their love and support...not to mention they spoiled her rotten. :p

Her life could have well been perfect...except for one detail...her health. At the age of two, Lena fell while playing outside, and scraped/cut her arm, deep enough that the injury drew blood. When her mother Jenelle went to tend to the injury, she found that it was bleeding steadily...even soaking through the several bandaids Jen stuck on her daughter's arm. For a cut that small...it alarmed Jenelle...much more so when even after an hour, the bleeding did not stop. Worried for her daughter, Jenelle rushed her to the emergency room and after examination and treatment...the doctors diagnosed Lena with a rare inherited bleeding disorder called hemophilia...a disorder in which the blood does not clot normally..or in some cases..at all. It was...not good news at all, and from that day forward, Jenelle constantly urged her daughter to be careful and safe so as not to attain a cut or otherwise blood-drawing injury...as such an injury for Lena, even a minor one...could be fatal.

The diagnosis was hardly a deterrent to Lena herself though, and she took no heed as to its severity, going along with her happy go lucky ways. Even from the time she was a little girl, her personality was quite evident from early on. Just like her mother, she was known for being social...very social...she LOVED to talk..and loved to spend her days hanging out with friends...the more she grew it seemed, the less time she spent at home. You could definitely say she had it good...growing up in a family that sat comfortably between upper and middle class...they often took vacations, bought her expensive gifts...even a new sports car as a present for getting her license at the age of 16. It took her three tries, but you know what they say, third time's a charm. :p

As a teenager, Lena's happy-go-lucky party-animal personality only continued to become more evident, and she was really something of a flirt in those younger years...having as many as 14 or so boyfriends over the course of her middle and high school years. She was really just the type to just...go out and party and have fun with these..significant others..none of them were honestly lasting relationships, to be truthful.

As much as she enjoyed her flings with various guys though....deep down inside...as a teen...Lena really did wish she could be with someone and have a relationship that was..you know..something more.

Once she got to be around...15 or so, Lena ended up taking a little break from dating...after being in a relationship with a guy named Jackson. As much as she enjoyed being with him...(the two had similar personalities and got along great) she knew he was...bad news...he had some addiction issues among other things...and even cheated on her while the two were together...so in the end, Lena had the sense to follow her friends' advice and break up with him.

Some time later, while still on her anti-dating phase...Lena finds herself feeling..almost attracted to someone else..which surprises even her...mostly because..that someone else is another girl. Her newfound feelings confuse Lena...but in time..after talking it through with some of her close friends..she realizes that...she might well be attracted both ways. She casually mentions this one day to two guy best friends of hers, and one of them (jokingly) tells Lena she couldn't get a girl if she wanted to. He's just playing...he knows Lena could get a girlfriend, he just wanted to mess with her a little, but Lena takes it as a challenge and tells him she could any day of the week. Her other guy friend is skeptical, and he says he doesn't believe it. In the end, he and Lena make a bet...if she can get a girlfriend within that same week, he owes her twenty dollars, and if she can't...she owes him twenty dollars.

With the challenge set, Lena decides to go right for it...and seeks to win the affection of the girl she'd originally had a little bit of a crush on...another sophomore named Alisha. In befriending Alisha..Lena quickly finds out how different they are...she's outgoing and something of a party-animal..and Alisha is more shy and quiet...albeit sweet. Alisha seems alright with being friends...but as far as being something more...that takes some convincing on Lena's part..as Alisha is genuinely surprised (not necessarily in a bad way..) when Lena asks her out. Well, with Lena having Alisha as her girlfriend, her guy friend pays up and gives her the twenty bucks, but to Lena its really not so much just about the dare anymore..because as time goes on, she really finds herself caring a lot for Alisha..and Alisha for her...more so than she'd ever cared for any of the guys she'd dated in the past. The only thing that bothers her is that Alisha seems...almost uncomfortable at times in their relationship...its clear she doesn't want to go beyond kissing...though Lena at this point can't discern as to why...as she herself would be more than happy to go farther.

In time though, another guy friend of Lena's ends up telling Alisha (somewhat mistakenly) that the only reason Lena dated her was out of a dare...and Alisha...all but heartbroken..confronts Lena about this, and Lena has no choice but to admit the truth. Alisha pretty much goes off on her...I mean it really hurt her to find out the reason for their relationship in the first place...and no matter how much Lena tries to plead with her that..she really did love her...and care about her..Alisha is unconvinced, and insists on a breakup.

The breakup...little did Alisha know..was as heartbreaking for Lena as it was for her...and after that..the two just ended up...staying away from each other...and Lena didn't have any other really significant relationships for the remainder of her high school years..at least none that meant as much to her as Alisha had.

After graduating from high school, Lena attends college with the intent of becoming a business major, and at the encouragement of her parents, seeks out a summer internship. She ends up working as an intern at an insurance company called Kaiser & Sons...and after meeting the CEO, Gunther Kaiser himself who shows her around, she is assigned to work with Gunther's son Julius Kaiser, who is instructed by his father to teach Lena about the company and her new place in it.

Lena quickly finds that Julius seems to dislike her...referring to her as annoying, spoiled, and incompetent. She can't stand that and so of course, she starts really disliking him too, and her enthusiasm at working there quickly wears off as her constant arguments with Julius increase. After a few months, she decides she can't take it anymore, and after a minor argument with Julius, she storms out the door and tells him she's done working there. After fuming outside for a few minutes, she sees Julius come after her, and he apologizes...with immense difficulty...and tells her that if she comes back, he'll do his best to be not so...stern and mean.

It takes a lot of convincing on his part...but Lena does come back...and from then on, the two try and at least act in a civil way towards each other. In time..Lena starts to find him almost...attractive...handsome...and she gains something like respect for his devoted and work-loyal personality...instead of viewing him as stiff and stuck up the way she used to.

As the months pass for Julius and Lena...tolerance becomes friendship..and friendship blossoms into love, and in spite of the fact that they really are an odd couple...it proved for both of them something they never thought possible..sometimes opposites really do attract...and sometimes..that in itself can be a beautiful thing. After two years of being together, Julius proposes, and the two are happily married, with a baby soon on the way. The couple agrees that should the child be a boy, his name will be Julius Matthew Kaiser, and should it be a girl, her name will be Lena Jenelle Kaiser.

Lena's pregnancy causes problems though...around the eighth month, she ends up becoming sick..her condition worsening in the passing time..until it finally comes time to give birth. Being small of build to begin with, giving birth was...an extreme struggle for her...and the strain on her body ended up triggering the burst of a blood vessel...an internal injury that went unseen until it was too late. Lena dies of an internal hemorrhage....and her baby, a boy, is removed via C-section. Her death casts a great sadness over her family..especially her husband Julius...but fortunately, her son, Julius Kaiser, Jr., was saved, though mother and son never had the chance to meet. He always remembers her though...if not in his memory, then in his heart, as does the rest of her family; her parents and relatives, Alisha, and Lena's own grandchild, Kero's daughter Skyla / son Skyeler <3

Age: 54
Birthday: November 6th
Astrology Sign: Scorpio

Element: Fire
Ethnicity: Venezuelan
Language(s): English
Religion: Non-religious
Occupation: Police Commander
Birthplace: Sacramento, California, U.S.A.
Current Living Place: Sacramento, California, U.S.A.
Blood Type: O
Marital Status: Taken (Boyfriend to Saige)
Family Relations: Son of Darius and Kallie; Father of Daniel, Luke, and Vinnie
Notes: Jairo is Saige's boyfriend and its in Saige's story where his primary role lies. He first meets her when she is 7 and he's 28, after he rescues her from drowning when she wanders too far out from the beach. At that point, neither of them see it as anything more than a good deed, Jairo feels good that he saved this little girl's life and Saige is just happy to be alive...although this memory comes to stay with her for a long time. Jairo served in the U.S. army for a number of years, beginning from his high school graduation, and after he came back home, a well-decorated veteran, he marries Roxanne, and together, they have three sons; Daniel, Lukas, and Vinnie. Roxanne ultimately leaves him and the boys for another man, and Jairo is left to raise three teenage sons on his own. Years later, when he's around 54 (present time), he meets Saige again, though neither of them recognizes the other (its been like 26 years adffdas). He's in the market for a new house and as it happens, she's the one to show one of the homes to him....and as they'e going on their tour...she finally mentions that he seems familiar. It takes a moment...but then...the two realize it...Saige realizes that he's the one that saved her from drowning when she was little, and he realizes that...this is the little girl he rescued...grown up now. As time passes...Jairo and Saige come to spend more time together...he tells her about his ex-wife and sons...she tells him about her ex-boyfriend and daughter...both know the familiarity of heartbreak...and its that, in part, that lets them relate to each other as they do. In time, the two become a couple...dating, but not married...although many people, as they find out, are quite put out by the age difference between them. Saige's daughter and ex boyfriend give her a lot of crap for the longest time...saying that its not right....its practically pedophilia, and so on and so fourth...until ultimately, they come to realize that age isn't everything and they're flipping their lids over nothing, and eventually they quiet down. Jairo...knows really that Saige's daughter Skyla will never see him as a father figure...but as of late, she has come to see him in a better light, and in all honesty, they do get along now...though the same can't be said of Jairo and Skyla's father..those two...are just too different to really ever become friends or even acquaintances. Jairo and Skyla...what if they got togeth- safsd no not even going to go there
