So you've found your way to my Section 3 Main Characters page. 8D These are all the main characters from my first story group...which is all my characters that are based in California...like Kero and Kodi and all their families and whatnot. Even as an adult, he still loves things like Disney movies (his favorite is The Lion King lol)...and watching kids shows like Spongebob and things of that level...he honestly prefers those to watching something more suited to his age...kids shows and movies are fun and exciting to him. Its not just that either...Kodi on the whole often thinks and even acts much yonger than he is...which means that, on the good side, he'll always remain somewhat youthful regardless of how much he ages, but on the bad side...it can be hard for people to take him seriously..as an adult that often seems to have the mentality of a tweenage boy. He's a little oblivious to that though...as he is to a number of things xD Its not common for something to go right over his head..especially if its something of a more..."mature" nature....like if he's watching a tv show and some kind of sexual joke comes on, its more than likely Kodi won't even notice it, let alone actually GET it xD He...really is quite the innocent....he always has been...as a little kid..as a teen...and even now...it gives him a very kid-like quality. Kodi can be...somewhat naive too...which kind of goes along with the innocent thing...like...he likes to believe the best in people and the world, and believe that..no matter what...things will turn out for the better...even if he has no idea how that's going to happen. It was like...back when he was married to Danni..and she would have her doubts about their financial situation among other things...he would always tell her that...things would get better...and plead with her to trust him on that...but he never had...a solid plan to back up that optimistic view of "things will get better". At least the optimism was there..that has to count for something really. And on that good side, Kodi really is a sweet guy...he's got a real happy-go-lucky personality and easygoing demeanor. He hates conflict and will never start a fight...he'll find any way he can to avoid confrontation and see to it that things are...peaceful....he'd rather make friends than enemies..and is happiest when everyone is getting along and in a good mood. He's a little more soft-spoken....and shy and bashful around someone he "likes". c: He's really really sweet though...and although he can be somewhat whiny and childish at times, it can be said that he's nice to just about everyone...he really has no temper to speak of and its pretty much impossible to get him angry....sad maybe...but not angry. His kids love him....Kodi is a caring and devoted father to both of them..though he's very lax on discipline and he tends to be more of a friend than a parent...his own kid-like nature causes him to see his children as equals as opposed to...seeing them as being below him. It works though...he's really close with his son and daughter...and they know that they're the ones who really make his life worthwhile. c:

Her peppy and sunny demeanor definitely makes her very well-suited to her role on the school cheerleading squad...I won't lie...Kayleigh..is something of a typical preppy girl....loves parties, texting, going shopping, and is always seen hanging out with one or more or her wide circle of friends. Kayleigh is social in the extreme....she LOVES being around friends and even more so...being the center of attention...especially when it comes to her modeling job or all those beauty pageants...she's always loved being in those and winning all those tiaras and whatnot...she still does pageants even today...the little attention whore. In spite of that...she really isn't stuck-up or shallow..yes those successes do go to her head sometimes, I won't lie...but ultimately...it really hasn't turned her into a self-important bitch like..some of the other girls from her story. Kay's actually...really friendly...definitely an extrovert type who makes friends with ease as a result of her outgoing nature. She loves to talk...if that isn't already obvious xD...and she talks...a lot...like..to the point of being downright annoying to people at times. She's really...very animated and has a quirky and silly personality...sometimes she's just outright random...like people could be talking about one thing and then Kayleigh will go and bring up something she did on vacation or something she ate not too long ago or just..randomly interject something that might well be totally irrelevant. xD She has quite a lively sense of humor...often good at making people laugh and cheering them up...she likes making people happy. c: When it comes to more...intimate relationships...like with her boyfriend...she's much more..affectionate...sweet...and...'playful'...and yes that can be interpreted in many more ways than one. ;D Kayleigh can be something of an airhead at times..its not something that comes up a whole lot but she'll just have her moments where things will go right over her head or she'll seem completely oblivious...no I won't like that happens a lot lol. Kay's really sweet though...and despite her naturally whimsical and fun-loving nature, she can be serious when the situation calls for it. She is...naturally an emotional person though and tends to wear her emotions on her sleeves...its practically impossible for her to hide her emotions...if she's upset...then more than likely...its going to be real obvious. She isn't known for staying upset though...unless its something that's really cut her deep...like when her ex-boyfriend broke up with her...that was something that..while expected...took her awhile to kind of..you know..get over. But other than that, she typically bounces back quickly...without holding grudges..it just...isn't in her nature..she can't mentally hold on to anger for long periods of time...she just..kind of drops it whether she consciously wants to or not...and goes back to that cheerfully happy nature. c:

He's the kind of friend who'd give his life for you...his loyalty is just about unmatched...you can always count on him to be there whether its to listen...to offer advice...or just..to provide a shoulder to cry on...he's just..really sweet and understanding in that respect. When Skyla was going through her grieving over losing her boyfriend Ray...Hayden was there for her through it all as a friend..he would hold and comfort her while she'd cry..listen when she'd vent her frustration...and just..you know...talk to her, tell her that things would be okay. <3 His good nature isn't just limited to when he's with his friends...he'd go out of his way to help someone even if it was someone he didn't know well. Hayden's a true gentleman really...and especially respectful towards girls...he really knows how to treat a lady c: He's completely genuine...honest...it takes a rare occasion to make him lie...and you'll never hear him talking crap about people...he has enough confidence in himself that...he doesn't feel the need to build it by tearing other people down. His confidence is strong and Hayden's definitely the type who believes he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to. He's extremely determined in that respect...once he sets his mind to achieving something, there's no stopping him...he doesn't let anything or anyone get in the way of what he sets out to do. He'll fight for his goals with a stubborn and unstoppable determination...the best example of this being when, in his story, he continues to train for, and ultimately compete in, a full marathon...despite having been diagnosed with a heart condition and told by doctors that his participation in the grueling race might well kill him. (Its worth noting too that it very nearly did) It didn't stop him...because for Hayden, winning that marathon was his long-held dream...what he'd trained for all his life...and it was a dream worth fighting for. His incredible perseverance and refusal to give up even in the greatest of challenges can definitely be viewed as a character strength...and at the same time...a flaw...especially when you consider the fact that that marathon he fought so hard to win nearly killed him. A lot of it was that...he had to prove to himself..that he could do it..he always hated being told that he was incapable of achieving that goal of his...it made him feel powerless and down on himself. For all his goodness towards other people....Hayden is actually very hard on himself...while he seems confident on the outside, on the inside he has a few.. unexpressed insecurities. For one, he doesn't ever let on to others when he's upset about something...or if he's hurt..whether that's physically or emotionally. Like...the death of his cousin Ray..was something that devastated him..deeply so...but Hayden's never really expressed this or told anyone. Its that way with his fears too...Hayden has a boyish pride in not ever showing when/if he's afraid of something..though there are things in life that terrify him...like elevators...once when he was four, he got stuck in one for nearly three hours..its resulted in him being...really claustrophobic now. Those fears and insecurities though...are something he never shows, as he's good at hiding his emotions and finding other ways to deal with them rather than talking to someone. He generally deals with his emotions through running...he's a natural athlete and running is by far his greatest passion....Hayden LOVES to run....its so much more than a sport for him, its one of the greatest parts of his life.

Though he may not outwardly show it, he's terrified of enclosed spaces, especially elevators....to the point where he'd opt to climb fifty floors of stairs before even thinking about setting a foot near the elevator.

Literally....he may be 33 on the outside...but on the inside...its like he's still a 17-year-old teenage boy...you can almost always find him hanging out with the guys, playing endlessly on one of his many video game consoles, or having rootbeer-chugging contests with his friends at whatever restaurant they've decided to hit up...its like he never really left high school. And like any teenage boy...Kero can be very...very immature...like..for example, he's well known for saying things like "that's what she said ;D"...and "your mom"...things like that. Its worth noting though that in spite of all this...Kero really has matured a good deal...one of the main aspects of his story is his own coming-of-age...but though he's grown out of a lot of his former immature traits...he still has that young spirit of his...you know..young at heart. c: Kero really is a good guy...he's got this really carefree and happy-go-lucky HAKUNA MATATA! kind of nature...he's just the type that loves life and lives it to the fullest...he sees life as a big adventure game...and he's not afraid to do crazy shit..like jumping off that 20-foot-high bridge into the stream below...and even convincing his daughter (or son) to go too. (He's such a good influence amirite???) He's very spontaneous and not afraid to just..seize the moment and take risks every now and again for the sake of having fun...to be totally honest, having fun is one of his main goals in life...to him, fun is what makes life worth living. That definitely comes into play too when it comes to his...intimate relationships...he loves to play around and have fun...use your imagination. ;D Getting off that..fact...Kero sometimes has a hard time taking life seriously when he needs to..its always been something he's had trouble with...because the truth is, he's just not a serious guy...he never will be. Kero loves making people laugh too...whether its telling jokes...or even talking about something he did that was completely retarded ...for the most part, Kero has no issue with laughing at himself every now and again. Sometimes he does get carried away with the joking though and it can get to the point where he just..you know..puts his foot in his mouth...says the wrong thing at the wrong time..truth be told, Kero doesn't always think before he acts or speaks...and unfortunately, its something of a flaw. Going off of that too...Kero has a somewhat egotistic perspective on the world..and by that I mean...its extremely difficult for him to think outside the box...to see things from other's perspectives. Probably the best example of this would be his relationship with his father...his father would lecture and criticize him frequently...but ultimately, he was just trying to teach Kero and help him learn to be a better man..but all Kero thought was that his father was just ornery and bitter and purposely trying to be an asshole to piss Kero off. Unfortunately...it wasn't until after his father's death that Kero realized how wrong he was...and that in time...he would learn his father's lessons for himself...and needless to say, he now has a great deal of respect for his father...though he carries a deep regret at knowing that his last words to his dad were..well...not at all what they should have been. As far as being a father himself...Kero's relationship with his daughter or son is...a lot of times more of a friendship than a parent-child relationship...like..he doesn't lecture or set parental rules or discipline...like at all...his parenting style is totally opposite that of his own father. In spite of that though..Kero and his daughter/son always have been really tight...they hang out a lot and its definitely worth saying that Kero really is...a loving and devoted dad. <3

Fun Fact!: As a young child, from around the age of three, Julius Kaiser Jr. often had play dates with his dad's friend's daughter of the same age, Saige. Saige often invited the young Kaiser for tea parties with her and her stuffed animals, her favorite of which being a teddy bear named Kero. One day though the bear called Kero went missing, much to Saige's dismay, and so when young mister Kaiser came over, Saige alleviated her problem by plopping a headband with bear ears on him and dubbing him the new "Kero". The nickname seemed to stick, Saige began using it as something of a pet-name for him; and before long, other kids (after having heard Saige call him Kero) began using the name to address him as well. Being that "Kero" never did care for his real name to begin with, he took a liking to the nickname, and has been using it ever since. c:

His view on life is definitely one of optimism...and he seems to have a knack for making those around him happy with his own contagiously sunny disposition...he's good at just...encouraging people...making them feel better if something's bugging them..its one of those traits the makes him a good friend...you can always count on him to listen and to just...be there as a shoulder to cry on. Its like when he met Saige for the first time..at the time she was going through some heartache after finding out about Kero dating Roxanne...and it was then that Chase befriended her and really went out of his way to comfort her and make her feel better....to show her how beautiful she really was, even though she doubted herself. He was just real sweet to her...and in time...his feelings of caring for her blossomed into love...and the two dated for a period of time. Chase really has a way with words, you could say....he makes an excellent leader and would probably be a diplomatic speaker as well if the need for that ever arose...he has a very friendly and sociable demeanor..as well as something of a charm to him...he's just...one of those people who others meet and feel like...they can just relate to...he really has a kind of genuineness about him. He's genuinely honest too....you can always count on him to be truthful...whether thats about himself...or his own opinion of something....he won't lie to you. He has a wide circle of friends but only a few close ones that he actually...fully trusts...he won't spill his heart to just anyone...to him...trust is something that should be earned...its one thing his dad always taught him. Chase looks on the brighter side of life..he'll see the good in the bad...and remain strong throughout those bad times..if there's traits he's admired for, that would be one of them. Won't hesitate to stand up for those he cares about and what he believes in....he can be a hell of a debater when it comes to things like that. When things aren't going his way...he's more likely to just..stop and look for ways to make things better as opposed to sitting there whining and balking over whatever the problem is...and doesn't seem to have much tolerance for whining in other people...it just...annoys him. He's usually..pretty good when it comes to making decisions...his knack for problem solving and finding solutions is definitely something he learned from his father, who lectured him frequently as a kid. His father taught him a lot, really...and a lot of those lessons show through in his personality to this day....he has a lot of respect for his dad. One of the main hallmarks of Chase's personality is that, while his nature is very outgoing, fun-loving and whatnot...he understands that there's a time and place for everything..and knows how to be the mature adult when times call for it...like at work..and situations like that. All other times, with his friends, his boyfriend, or his sister and 'daughter'...people he's close to, you can see him being his usual friendly, extroverted self. c:

Its hardly something she can help though....she loves being around others...the more the merrier, and when she's not at work, you can practically guarantee she's with one of her many friends...whether its her daughter or sisters...or Chase....Kero...her bff Rosalie...or her...close friend Jairo. If truth be told..Saige is happiest whenever she's among friends...you know...going to parties, the mall, social functions...things like that...she's one of those people that needs to be liked by others in order to feel...good about herself....so when she's surrounded by others..you know she's happy. c: She'd do anything for those she cares about...even if it means taking a step out of her comfort zone...or a leap for that matter...in Kero's story..she even puts her own safety on the line to help him put his father's killer, Otto, behind bars. Consequently...being alone...is about the worst thing that can happen to her...its those times when she's just..sitting around her house that her deep-down negative thoughts and insecurities will get the best of her...and she'll spend hours ruminating over her own flaws...and regrets..and things she wishes could have happened differently. Its this kind of thing that can dampen her mood for the remainder of a day...so with that being said...its understandable that she always seems to seek out the company of other people...its better for her that way. She's used to being surrounded by people anyways...it was that way all through her childhood and into high school...where she had a relatively high social standing..even being nominated once as homecoming queen (alongside Kero who was nominated king)....and being of high social status, plus having something of a spoiled home life...made Saige rather used to getting her way. While she isn't, and has never been an outright brat...she can be really...really whiny when things aren't going her way...and that was one of the things that drove Kero crazy...he's even once told her she acts like a spoiled two-year-old. (Though he later took it back after feeling..you know..bad :c) She's incredibly sensitive too...Saige is like...like she can't take criticism or anything close to it..at all...it'll never fail to upset her to some degree...even to tears.(....Kero had a really hard time breaking up (in one version of the story) with her for this reason.) Saige also seems to have a minor case of OCD...when it comes to certain specific things.....like clothing hangers...she always has to make sure they're hung up facing the same direction..she'll fix them at home..at stores..whenever she sees them hung up 'wrong'. Yeah...little things like that..but honestly though...most people she knows find her random OCD habits to be not so much annoying as downright funny. Everyone has their flaws though...its what makes people human..and Saige is now exception....but in all honesty...her flaws are all but outweighed by the good in her. Saige is a HUGE animal lover...she's adopted many shelter animals in the past...owning four to this day...and even as a kid, she'd always leave out food for the stray kitties in her neighborhood...and pet/cuddle them whenever they'd show up around her house. It was that love of animals that lead her to become a vegetarian at the age of 11..and she's been one ever since. She loves nature too..she always has...ever since she was a girl scout...she's always had something of a love affair with the beautiful great outdoors. c: Seriously...she's like a white version of pocahontas...she's even befriended much of the wildlife that shows up around her house. But as far as her own true personality goes...Saige really is a total sweetheart....I mean...one of the most compassionate people you'll ever meet...almost something of a bleeding heart. It was that compassion that led her to adopt several shelter-animals, kept her by Kero's side throughout the aftermath of his father's death, and to confront Roxanne after learning about Roxanne's abandoning of her husband and sons. It was that same compassion too, that lead her to love Jairo (in one version of the story)...she felt a deep empathy for him...knowing as he did what real heartbreak felt like.

Her biggest fixation is clothing hangers; she will spend ages arranging hers and her daughter's closets to make sure ALL the hangers are facing the same way- the hooked end pointing away from her- and she will even do this in clothing stores as well (until Skyla or one of the store clerks stops her dfsadafs). Her other big issue is salad dressing; she can't allow the oil to separate and form a layer above the rest of the dressing in the bottle, and if it does, she HAS to mix it back up and "fix" the issue. She does this with bottles of dressing at her own house, and unless stopped, will even "fix" the "messed up" bottles of dressing at the grocery store.

She's real friendly too....loves making new friends and isn't shy at all when it comes to meeting new people....like if a new girl joins the cheerleading squad...Sky will always be the first one to go and greet them and introduce herself and get to know them and whatnot...that was actually how her friendship with Carrie got started. c: Sky hates fighting and conflicts....whether they be personal or internal...dealing with dissention is not something she handles well..and when she gets stressed out enough in a situation like that...thats when she'll end up making decisions or saying things that...she regrets later on. Probably the best example of this was when she had her spat with Cheyenne not long after Ray was hospitalized...Sky was real upset at the time and after Cheyenne said something rather..insensitive to her...Sky, already stressed significantly, snapped back at her pretty strongly...which only caused Cheyenne to retaliate and before long they were really at each other's throats...it wasn't a nice thing. Sky was the first to apologize though several days later...she really felt bad even though she was the one who took quite the verbal beating from Cheyenne....but honestly..the guilt made her feel terrible. Sky...can't deal with guilt really...if she thinks she's hurt someone else..it makes her doubt herself as a person and she'll really beat herself up a lot...it was like when she broke up with Hayden to be with Hunter..she felt really terrible...she actually ended up in tears when she finally broke the news to Hayden...it hurt her that she was hurting him. I digress though...back to what I was saying... you'll almost never find Skyla alone..and a lot of the fact is that...she's like Saige in that respect as well...if she spends too much time alone...it'll really just end up getting her down...you know..she'll start thinking like...why is she alone..why hasn't anyone called...and once things like that start coming up in her mind..she'll start to dwell on them...or ruminate over some past event or sadness and it just...it can really..really get her down. Truth be told though...its only happened a few times..for her to get that down is extremely rare... I think the only times she's really had it real bad was when Ray...passed away...it really took her a long time to get through that. But with exception to..you know...things like that...Skyla always goes through life with optimism...she has a really upbeat view on life and thats something she definitely takes after her dad in...she's always smiling and seems to be in a perpetual good mood..its hard to dampen her enthusiasm. Unlike most girls her age..she really isn't...what you'd call sensitive...she can handle things without taking offense...a lot of that probably being due to how her dad raised her....often treating her as if she were one of the guys..you know...with mock insults and joking around a lot. Sky doesn't mind laughing at herself every now and again either..another trait from her father. When you really think about it...she shares a lot of similarities with him...for example..Sky's really got something of an adventurous spirit..and a high level of self-confidence (but not vanity or pride)...not a lot really intimidates her...not even performing with dance team in competitions.....she doesn't stress, but just has fun with it. c:

It definitely put Skye and Claire through a struggle...and yes, Skye could have just...given up then and found someone easier...but he loved Claire, and was determined that somehow they would be together in the end. And lo and behold, that's just what happened. c: C: On that note, its worth touching on that when it comes to relationships...be it love or friendship, Skye is indisputably loyal...when he really cares about someone, they have his support no matter what. It was in part that loyalty that saw him and Claire through the difficult beginning of their relationship...and it was with that loyalty that Skyeler, on behalf of his best friend, stood up to and fought with Ty, Claire's less-than-pleasant cousin. Its not something he does often...Skyeler...hates to fight with people...he would much rather avoid someone he dislikes than go and fight them...the only reason he ended up fighting Ty was because Ty had hurt Morgan...and Skye's loyal devotion to his friend would not let that go unpunished. Skye does his best to get along with people...even those he doesn't particularly care for...he'd rather make friends than enemies. He tries hard to see the best in people...and can be..somewhat naive at times...particularly in this respect, often directly overlooking someone's flaws. It can be a good or a bad thing....at one point he overlooks the fact that the girl he used to like, Angel, was an outright slut and he could have well ended up dating her...only for her to do something like cheat on him fsadsdff that would not have been good. On the other hand though...the fact that he sees the best in people...and is willing to let things go and forgive..means that you'll never see him holding a grudge. Its like..he went through a lot of shit with Claire's cousin Ty and given that, he has every reason to hate Ty..but he doesn't..and its really only because of Skyeler's friendly and hey-lets-be-friends :D! nature that the two are now on more neutral terms as opposed to totally hating each other which is pretty much where they used to be. Obviously Skyeler isn't without his faults...one of the major ones being his own naivete...but he's also not without his good qualities that balance them out. For one, he's really..really sweet...affectionate...especially so when it comes to his relationships..or should I say, his relationship. He's incredibly devoted to her...to him...she's the one...the only one for him...the only one he wants...and he's as much a loyal boyfriend as he is a loyal friend. It was that kind of..dedication to her that made him remember her even years after they'd parted as kids...he'd always wonder about her...miss her...and reminisce on the times they'd spent together as little kids.
